Social work services with accommodation

Tender description

Warwickshire CC is awarding to a single provider a short term accommodation based Housing Related Support service for Warwickshire homeless people and ex-offenders aged 25 years and over in order to prevent, reduce and/or delay their need for care and support through being homeless. The new service will also need to work closely with the 5 districts/boroughs, criminal justice agencies and a large number of other agencies in the voluntary and statutory sectors. The current service provides supported accommodation in all 5 districts/boroughs with 163 bed-spaces in total, of which 104 are in properties with 3 bed-spaces or more. The largest property in use is in Rugby which has 27 bed-spaces. Warwickshire CC are commissioning a single provider for a countywide accommodation based housing related support for people aged 25 and above, including ex-offenders. Applicants should be aware that volumes and block contract amounts may increase if additional funding becomes available or may decrease if funding reduces, during the term of the contract. The services may also be subject to modification in order to meet future changes in demands/needs or new initiatives.
