School catering services

Tender description

The Boleyn Trust has schools based in Newham and includes an established teaching school to train over 50 teachers a year. The Trust is looking for contractors to demonstrate their experience and expertise to manage the catering services across 6 of its member primary academies. The schools included in this exercise are: — Shaftesbury Primary School, — Cleves Primary School, — New City Primary School, — Ravenscroft Primary School, — Rosetta Primary School, — Tollgate Primary School. Each school retains its own ethos and independence – all with high expectations for the outcomes of their pupils. Demographics amongst the academies differ, therefore a flexible service provision is required to meet the differing needs of each academy. In addition to Universal Free School Meals (UIFSM) Newham is one of only 3 local authorities in the country to provide free school meals to junior pupils. It is therefore expected that the caterer will focus on ensuring every pupil takes advantage of their free school meal allowance.
