Tender description

Thames Water (TWUL) is seeking to procure the provision of services for Physiotherapy and health screening under framework agreement(s). The service is split into 2 lots: — lot 1 — Physiotherapy services, — lot 2 — Health screening. We reserve the right to: (i) not award 1 or more lots, (ii) award the lots on the basis of geographical coverage. Thames Water envisages that the framework agreement will be awarded for an initial term of 3 years with options to extend up to a maximum duration of 8 years (3 years + 2 years + 2 years + 1 year). The scope of this lot is for the provision of services for physiotherapy. Thames Water offer employees a fast track physiotherapy and workplace injury rehabilitation services (such as desk and vehicle assessments) and is seeking a supplier to provide these services. These services will include: — triage calls, — face to face assessments, — remote management, — assessment reports. The scope of this procurement is for employee health screening. Thames Water offers all employees the option to undertake a health screening (between 30–40 mins) appointment to help our employees understand and improve their wellbeing. The health check appointments assess the following areas: — height and weight — including body fat, — blood pressure — systolic, diastolic and resting, — body water percentage, — basal metabolic rate and estimated daily calories, — forced expiratory volume and lung age, — cholesterol, — vision test. These health check appointments will also feed into and structure wellbeing programmes run for Thames Water's employees throughout the year.
