This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to notify the market that Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust (YAS) plans to host Meet the Buyer events on the following dates Friday 29.3.2019 (Cedar Court, Huddersfield 10:00-12:00 p.m.) Friday 29.3.2019 (Cedar Court, Wakefield 2:00-4:00 p.m.) Monday 1.4.2019 (King's Manor, York 2:00-4:00 p.m.) Tuesday 2.4.2019 (Mercure, Wetherby 11:00-1:00 p.m.) Wednesday 3.4.2019 (Holiday Inn, Rotherham 2:00-4:00 p.m.) and Thursday 4.4.2019 (Best Western, Beverley 11:00-1:00 p.m.) in relation to our forthcoming Dynamic Purchasing System opportunity for Non-Emergency Patient Transport. Please note that this PIN does not formally signify the beginning of a procurement process and does not constitute a commitment by YAS to undertake any formal procurement exercise. Lot 1 - A vehicle with capacity to transport a minimum of 3 patients able to get in and out of a standard car with minimal assistance on any journey. This includes children travelling with an escort. In the event that YAS decides to formally commence procurement activities pursuant to this PIN, a separate Contract Notice will be issued. Lot 2 - A vehicle with capacity to transport patients able to get in and out of a standard car with minimal assistance, children travelling with an escort and patients travelling in their own wheelchair. In the event that YAS decides to formally commence procurement activities pursuant to this PIN, a separate Contract Notice will be issued. Lot 3 - A vehicle with capacity to transport patients able to get in and out of a standard car with minimal assistance, children travelling with an escort, patients travelling in their own wheelchair, and patients who require moving and handling equipment and assistance. In the event that YAS decides to formally commence procurement activities pursuant to this PIN, a separate Contract Notice will be issued. Lot 4 - A vehicle with capacity to transport patients able to get in and out of a standard car with minimal assistance, children travelling with an escort, patients travelling in their own wheelchair, and patients who require moving and handling equipment and assistance. All may require the assistance from an additional crew member. In the event that YAS decides to formally commence procurement activities pursuant to this PIN, a separate Contract Notice will be issued. Lot 5 - A provider registered with the Care Quality Commission and a vehicle with capacity to transport patients able to get in and out of a standard car with minimal assistance, children travelling with an escort, patients travelling in their own wheelchair, patients travelling on a stretcher. All may require the assistance from an additional crew member and moving and handling assistance. In the event that YAS decides to formally commence procurement activities pursuant to this PIN, a separate Contract Notice will be issued. Lot 6 - A provider registered with the Care Quality Commission and a vehicle with capacity to transport patients with complex mobility needs. This will require moving and handling equipment and assistance and more than 2 crew members. In the event that YAS decides to formally commence procurement activities pursuant to this PIN, a separate Contract Notice will be issued.
