Who Speclialist Work With You will be working with the Operational Communications in Policing (OCiP) team independent of but attached to the Home Office. The OCiP team comprises a number of serving police officers and staff. All of who work closely with members of one of three Home Office lead programmes. What Specialists Work On Work with Data Architect to establish LEDS data quality and data governance standards Engage with relevant Policing suppliers to ensure adoption and compliance with LEDS Data Standards Leadership and management of the Data Management and Data Governance organisation design project Engagement across all levels of policing, including at Chief Officer level the vendor community to prepare for data quality and data governance improvements Engage with Retention Project and with PNC and PND governance groups to improve data quality, mapping the status quo as required. Manage policing business activities to gain data quality improvements E19 Where the Work Takes Place London, Croydon and various locations to engage with police forces Early Market Engagement Working Arrangements Outside of formal meetings home working is permitted although weekly attendance in either London or Croydon is expected. This role requires frequent travel across the UK. This is to maintain close contact with the programme team and other key Home Office and Policing contacts based in London and Croydon and travel to law enforcement contacts in their environments. Work Location London, Croydon and various locations to engage with police forces Security Clearance Security Check and NPPV 3 Additional T&Cs Skills & Experience Strong stakeholder management skills for managing change through complex relationships. Strong communication and presentation skills for a range of audiences. Ability to persuade and influence at a senior level. Extensive experience of records management. Knowledge of change management activities that underpin the behavioural changes needed for data improvements. Using information to make operational deicisons. Data Protection principles. Nice to Haves Significant Qualification in Information Management for maintaining credibility to a diverse audience. No. of Specialists to Evaluate 6 Cultural Fit Criteria Experience of working within police and/or law enforcement. Experience of working within large Government programmes.
