Tender description

Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust invites tenders subject to the NHS Conditions of Tender for the supply and maintenance of 2 automated slide staining machine with associated software and consumables. The Trust intends to finance the device via an operating lease and enter into a Framework Agreement for the supply of the associated consumables The framework shall remain in force for a period of 4 years. The department of Histopathology require two Haemotoxylin and Eosin (H&E) and Periodic Acid Schiff (PAS) staining machines to replace the current units together with all associated consumables (280 000 slides per annum utilising both machines), software and maintenance. The machines must be available for installation as soon as possible post contract award.
