Tender description
The Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) footage management project seeks to improve the way in which CCTV footage recorded at London Underground stations is requested, stored and played back. The current system employed presents potential areas of risk and inefficiencies resulting from manual handling. As a result, in October 2017, the CCTV Footage Management Project was initiated to address these risks and inefficiencies. The scope is to investigate and outline a complete solution through both process and technology that would simplify and improve our handling of recorded CCTV footage. TfL therefore is looking to hold a Supplier Engagement Day to present the desired future state of CCTV Footage Management and discuss potential market solutions with interested parties. The proposed date is Wednesday 27th March. Interested parties are asked to contact BillySimson@tfl.gov.uk by 20.3.2019 (15:00) for further details on the requirement and supplier engagement day. TfL will manage this process in an open and transparent manner to maximise the possible benefits. Participation or non participation in this pre-market engagement exercise will not disadvantage or advantage any supplier's ability to participate in any future procurement activity including in particular any subsequent procurement process undertaken to deliver the project. Direct or indirect canvassing of any TfL employee or agent by any supplier concerning this requirement, or any attempt to procure information from any TfL employee or agent concerning this PIN outside of the formal process described in this document may result in the disqualification of the supplier from consideration of any future procurement activity. TfL will not enter into a contract based solely on the responses to this PIN. No information contained in this document nor in any communications in connection with this project shall be relied upon as constituting a contract, agreement or representation that any contract shall be offered in accordance with this PIN. TfL is under no obligation to follow up this market engagement exercise in any way or with any interested parties.
