Tender description

The Aquaculture Technical Section of BIM undertakes trials with the Aquaculture Industry in accordance with the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund and the National strategic Plan for Aquaculture. As part of this process it is planned to make provision to carry out a project to identify, extract and test anti-methanogenic compounds from Irish seaweeds for testing on ruminant fluids. The project is to be carried out in Ireland during the period June 2018 – June 2020. BIM would now like to invite suitable tenders for a project to identify, extract and test anti-methanogenic compounds from Irish seaweeds for testing on ruminant fluids over the period June 2018 – June 2020. The proposal for this service should be based on the Specification of Requirements set out in Section 2 of this document. BIM reserve the right to cancel the contract at any point giving one month’s notice.
