Tender description

The Centre for ALM at the University of Exeter has been working on developing PAEK (Poly Aryl Ether Ketones) polymer grades for laser sintering since 2010 when it purchased the first high temperature polymer laser sintering system EOSINT P800 system. The Centre is looking to continue their research and update their equipment with powder bed systems able to work with PAEK. The system must; operate at 300C, work with HT23, allow for inter-changeable hardware between the new system and the existing system P800 (such as blade geometries) and monitor and adjust cool down parameters. This procurement also includes a maintenance package that the University reserves the right to purchase, during the life time of the contract, if required. Further details can be found in the ITT document.
