Tender description

Bridgend county Borough Council seek to appoint experienced providers to enter into a framework agreement for the delivery of High Quality Short Breaks Service across Bridgend County Borough. The Framework agreement will be for 2 years with an option to extend a further 24 months. This service aims to enable and maintain resilient caring relationships for people with eligible care and support needs, and their carers, so that they can continue to live independently. Suppliers will provide sessional replacement personal care and support to eligible Individuals, including adults and children, for a period that also benefits an unpaid carer by enabling them to take a short break from their caring responsibilities. The authority is using E-TenderWales to carry out this procurement process. The Contract is for the service of regulatory short breaks service — identified needs are detailed in the tender documents.
