Energy Bureau and Brokerage

Tender description

The Council wishes to procure an Energy Bureau and Brokerage service. The bureau element will involve bill validation and include associated services such as monitoring, reporting usage via a portal and full query resolution. The brokerage element will consist of a fully managed energy procurement service and associated support, including ongoing market information. The energy procurement must be carried out in compliance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 The Council would like create a genuine long-term collaboration with a skilled energy service provider via a 3 year contract with a 1 year optional extension option. The contract will involve a staged mobilisation, with the bureau services starting in June 2019 and the brokerage element starting shortly after, allowing newly procured energy supplies (gas and electricity) to start in April 2020.
