Within the next 6-12 months, DCC will be tendering for Childrens Residential Block Contracts. DCC are currently in the Pre Procurement Stage. In order to ensure DCC is at the forefront of the creation this service, DCC are holding a Discovery Day on 29th March 2019 (09:30 to 13:00) in Exeter. The event will provide an opportunity to bring together potential providers, commissioners, and subject experts to explore what the new service should look like. The aim of the day is to help inform and shape the service specification, which will be tendered later in the year. Potential Providers who attend will: • Hear directly from DCC commissioning leads. • Listen and speak to local authority subject experts • Directly influence the service specification.
