Tender description

HS1 Ltd are seeking expressions of interest from suppliers to establish whether there is appetite for one supplier to undertake both RIBA Stage 5 (“Principal Designer” role) and the build (“Principal Contractor” role) for a potential future project. HS1 Ltd seek expressions of interest from suppliers with the capability to both Design and Build a RIBA Stage 5 design for the extension of current retail units inside a Grade I listed building. The supplier will be required to undertake both Principal Designer and Principal Contractor roles (and Quantity Surveying duties) under CDM and have experience of working on a Grade I listed building. Form of contract — HS1 expects to use 2 separate contracts: 1) NEC3 Professional Services Contract for RIBA Stage 5; and 2) NEC3 Engineering and Construction Contract for build.
