Tender description

Lancashire County Council is inviting tenders for the provision of the cleaning services as set out in the tender documents. The framework will predominantly be used for sourcing cleaning service solutions for customers of Lancashire County Council's Design and Construction Service. It may also be used to source cleaning service solutions for the Council's corporate sites. The anticipated commencement date is 1.6.2019. Lot 1 will be used for the majority of call-off Contracts. A mini-competition from the framework under this lot will ask one or several technical questions and invite price quotes. These call-off contracts will be 3 years in length unless otherwise specified, with an option to extend as long as the total duration of the call-off contract does not exceed 5 years in total. At the initial tender evaluation for appointment to the Framework, up to 20 of the highest scoring tenderers may be appointed to Lot 1. Lot 2 will typically be emergency contracts, or short/medium term cover cleaners. A mini-competition from the framework will ask 1 or several technical questions and invite price quotes. These call-off contracts will generally be a minimum of 1 year in length unless otherwise specified, with an option to extend as long as the total duration of the call-off contract does not exceed 2 years in total. At the initial tender evaluation for appointment to the Framework, the highest scoring 10 tenderers will be appointed to Lot 2.
