B976 (2019) Refurbishment and Alternations to NIE Networks Offices Dargan

Tender description

The Contracting Entity intends, following the process outlined below, to establish a Contract under which it shall appoint one Economic Operator to enter into Contract for the provision of the Works, as detailed below. • Replacement roof • Replacement external cladding • New first floor (over existing stores) and fit out to create additional office space for circa 80 people • Removal of existing portacabin and associated remedial works to carpark • Ancillary works to the existing buildings to facilitate the above These works will include: • Building, Mechanical and Electrical Works • Compliance with project Design, Building and Planning Regulations • Any phasing temporary or permanent to facilitate the works • Moving of office accommodation including IT equipment to facilitate the works • Protection of existing office and stores accommodation to facilitate the works • Maintaining access to existing office and stores to facilitate the works • Undertaking any Contractor Design Items • Liaising with all Statutory Authorities, NIE Networks and its External Project Design Team Please note the above list of works may be subject to change and or addition to suit the final scope of the project. This will be confirmed in the issue of the tender package to all shortlisted applicants.
