City of Wolverhampton Council (CWC) currently operates an unmanaged Layer 2 Network across the area of operations. This network provides broadband connectivity and services into a large number of CWC departments including education, health, parks, libraries and social services. The Layer 2 Network comprises of 3 main elements: (a) Unbundled Local Exchanges, (b) 1 Gb Fibre Ring, (c) Copper and Fibre Access Circuits. This procurement exercise will award to an organisation for the provision of the service.
