Swan School Temporary Accommodation

Tender description

The Department of Education requires a suitably experienced Contractor to express their interest to tender for the delivery of modular units on Cherwell School South Site. The Swan School will open in September 2019, with an intake of 120 pupils, run by the River Learning Trust. The Contractor will be procured on a single stage, JCT Intermediate Contract for the works of a temporary accommodation facility, compromising of classrooms, science lab, external hard standing. A planning application was submitted in December 2018 for the project and it is anticipated that the construction works will commence in June 2019 for a mid-August 2019 handover ready for the school to install ICT and FF&E ahead of the September 2019 start date. Appointment of contractor will be on the basis of the criteria to be published in the tender documents, and the contract will be awarded on the basis of the following split: Qualitative assessment 30% / Quantitative assessment 70%.
