Tender description
The Authority is seeking to procure a framework of in-vessel composting operators for the receipt of (in aggregate across all framework operators) c.125,000 tonnes per annum of co-mingled food and garden biowaste for treatment and recycling. Procurement of Greater Manchester Biowaste Treatment Framework (“Framework”). The Framework is for the appointment of a number of service providers to treat and recycle biowaste received from Authority’s sites. Upon being awarded a call-off contract from the Framework, the scope will require receipt (or collection if applicable) and subsequent treatment of biowaste materials, including the need for composting and recycling.
