Home Group Mechanical, Electrical & Public Health Consultant Services Framework

Home Group is seeking to establish a framework of suitably qualified and experienced Mechanical, Electrical & Public Health (MEP) consultants to support us in the delivery of our ambitious build strategy which seeks to develop circa 10,000 homes over the next 4 years. This Framework will cover new build and refurbishment projects comprising of a variety of tenures including affordable rent, shared ownership, outright sale and build to rent, as well as the potential to include community and commercial buildings. The Framework will exclude the development of New Models of Care (Extra Care and Supported) units included within our build programme, however we reserve the right to include these units if part of a large mixed tenure development. MEP Consultants will be required to work in partnership with our Development, Delivery & Design teams as well as Home Group appointed Consultants, Architects, and Contractors. It is expected that successful Consultants will have a minimum of one Chartered Engineer within their team responsible for Home Group appointments. The framework will be tendered as 3 individual Lots, split as follows: • Lot 1 - North • Lot 2 - Scotland • Lot 3 - South Applicants will be restricted to applying for a maximum of two lots. Within each Lot, Consultants will be required to provide MEP services to support Home Group in providing either a full detailed design service or a performance design service on both high density and low density developments. High Density developments can be defined as developments over 4 storeys high, which include communal and/or commercial elements.
