Lincolnshire West CCG is seeking to develop a new community based service for all MSK conditions which combines a single service entry point, a patient needs assessment/triage service and, where appropriate a targeted, short term treatment service. In such a process, the needs assessment/triage may identify a need to seek specialist (secondary care) advice. Fundamental to this service will be close working/co-location with GP practices. The CCG is also keen to maximise the benefits of technology in the ways in which a new service is delivered. The CCG is seeking innovation in service delivery and considering a lead provider model but would welcome a dialogue with innovative potential providers. This PIN is issued to commence engagement with potential providers and the CCG intends to hold a bidder engagement event towards the end of January 2019 ahead of a full procurement. Interested parties are asked to register their interest by e-mailing the buyer.
