Tender description
This procurement will be conducted under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015, utilising the Open Procedure and seeks to procure a framework of in-vessel composting operators for the receipt of (in aggregate across all framework operators) c.125,000 tonnes per annum of co-mingled food and garden biowaste for treatment and recycling. The Framework is for the appointment of a number of service providers to treat and recycle biowaste received from Authority’s sites. Upon being awarded a call-off contract from the Framework, the scope will include receipt or collection (as applicable) and subsequent treatment of biowaste materials, including the need for composting and recycling.
