Tender description

Highways England is a government company responsible for maintaining the strategic road network in England. As one of its targets it is required to improve the air quality adjacent to key locations on the road network. Highways England is planning to construct air quality barriers alongside our roads at key points to disperse air pollution. We are seeking an understanding of the available market and products capability to supply barriers to meet the required specification. A detailed description of the specification for the air quality barriers is provided in a briefing document on our e-sourcing portal. Potential suppliers are invited to register for a free account at https://highways.bravosolution.co.uk/web/login.shtml. Once logged on, click on the “Projects” link, then click on the “File Sharing” > “Files” > “Directories” links using the menu at the left hand side of the screen. Once the Directories screen opens, registered users should see one or more sub-folders. Users should navigate to the “Air Quality Barrier — market engagement Winter 2019” folder, where the briefing note and any subsequent engagement documents will be published.
