The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) is preparing to initiate a procurement process to award a contract to build upon its existing air asset capability by incorporating a multirotor small unmanned aircraft with a Maximum Take Off Mass (MTOM) not exceeding 7 Kg. To assist with any future procurement the PSNI wishes to establish the level of interest in participation from the market. **Market Sounding Exercise**. The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) is preparing to initiate a procurement process to award a contract to build upon its existing air asset capability by incorporating a multirotor small unmanned aircraft with a Maximum Take Off Mass (MTOM) not exceeding 7Kg. Before launching a procurement procedure, PSNI and Central Procurement Directorate (CPD) are conducting pre-market engagement with a view to preparing the procurement and to inform economic operators /warm the market to the opportunity of the future procurement requirements. Following the receipt of completed questionnaires and using the list of interested parties captured, more detailed research /consultation /product exploration /surgery may take place. This may involve demonstration of the equipment from an operational and technical perspective to inform the specification.
