The Winchester City Centre Partnership (WCCP)is the trading company of Winchester Business Improvement District (BID), which delivers the established Winchester Business Crime Reduction Partnership (WBCRP), and covers both day and night-time economies. The partnership is accredited with distinction by the National Association of Business Crime Partnerships and works with Hampshire Constabulary, local councils, CCTV operators and local businesses to deter and prevent retail crime and anti-social behaviour in Winchester to ensure our city is a safe place to visit, live, shop and enjoy the many attractions it has to offer. Members enjoy the benefits of direct radio contact with all the official authorities mentioned above as well as each other. There are currently 115 radios in use. This combined with data from our secure intranet (DISC) allows members to have prior knowledge of the moments and actions of prevalent known offenders as well as transient opportunistic offenders.
