UCL is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to obtain information from Responders to help form an approach to implementing a Microsoft O365 Unified Communications (UC) and Telephony Solution, with compatible Contact Centre solution. UCL would like information on what is available in the market to provide relevant products, implementation services, appropriate support and maintenance services for the solution and software to be used for the Contact Centre. This RFI is issued for the purpose of conducting a soft market testing exercise and does not constitute any commitment by UCL to undertake any public procurement exercise in the future. A supplier briefing is being held on 19.3.2018. As part of this RFI, UCL would like to invite interested Responders to submit information regarding their products and services. The primary objectives of this process are: a) to help UCL understand what implementation and any on-going support and maintenance services there are; b) to identify what contact centre products there are; c) to understand if there is a single provider of support for both the UC and Telephony Solution as well as the contact centre solution; d) to understand whether or not some of the approaches being planned are realistic, prior to tendering; e) to help inform the budgetary requirements for the project; f) to allow Responders to submit innovative ideas that can influence the procurement stage of the project; g) to help shape the scope of the tender and Inform the choice of procurement route used to procure the above products and services. At this stage UCL wants to understand what is available in the market prior to carrying out a tender exercise. This is therefore a Request for Information only and we are not expecting formal bids.
