SS17112 - Clinical Service for ASC (Adults)

Tender description

This procurement will use the Light Touch Regime (Public Contract Regulations 74-77). Kent County Council (“KCC”) is commissioning a clinical intervention in partnership with existing social care provision to people with ASC and complex needs who have been admitted to specialist ASC hospitals, are at risk of admission or have complex needs and required MDT support within the community. The Service will be part of the Kent and Medway Transforming Care programme and is aimed at residents of the county of Kent. This Service will be an interim arrangement, pending agreement of the Kent business case for a comprehensive community MDT for ASC during 2018/19. This Service is intended to be operational by April 2018 and will cease by March 2019. KCC welcomes applications from organisations that are able to provide this Service in Kent with minimal mobilisation, have significant experience and a proven track record of working with / evidenced specialist provision for behaviour that challenges with complex needs and are able to mobilise a flexible clinical service within the timeframes stated.
