Tender description

The RFI and RFP documents can be downloaded from our esourcing tool Scanmarket. The RFI must be completed and submitted by the .3.4.2018 (23:00 hrs). The RFP shall be issued together with the RFI to all bidders that accepted the invitation to participate to this event as “read only”. The editable RFP shall be issued to the bidders that qualify to the RFP stage only. Anglian Water recycles the majority of Biosolids to farmland as a fertilizer under the brand name Nutribio. The extent of this contract includes for spreading of Biosolids, produced annually from source works to Agricultural Land both within and outside the Anglian Water region where required. The Biosolids shall usually have previously been delivered and stockpiled at the site where spreading is required, but on occasion delivery and spreading take place at the same time. All spreading work is to be performed in full compliance with the latest version of the “Biosolids transport & recycling to agriculture best practice manual” as amended from time to time. The supplier shall supply the services listed as “preparatory or alternative work” in the prices schedule, at the request of the Biosolids Contracts Manager. For the avoidance of doubt, all Services herein are mandatory and if instructed to undertake any service, the supplier shall be obliged to act upon such instruction. Anglian Water reserves the right to obtain prices from alternative suppliers for the services listed as “preparatory” or “alternative work”, and to accept these services from alternative suppliers where Anglian Water deems it appropriate. The supplier shall provide all the plant and equipment required to meet the specification with the exception of the AWS spreader(s). Seven Self Propelled Terragators will be provided by AW for use by the supplier(s) in the allocated lots. The make and model is Vredo VT4556.
