Tender description

Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council is procuring a contract for the provision of Streetscene services (namely refuse and recycling collection, street cleansing and grounds maintenance) through a Competitive dialogue procedure pursuant to The Public Contracts Regulations, 2015. Domestic Waste Collection, recycling and street cleansing services with ancillary services. The Authority is responsible for the following key grounds maintenance services: — Grass Cutting (including amenity, wildflower grasslands, conservation verges and banks, ecotones and tree belts); — Maintenance of horticultural features; — Hedges; — Rose Beds; — Established mixed shrub beds; — Herbaceous borders; — Annual bedding and bulbs; — Vegetation control and weed treatment; — Leaf fall management; — Support at Community Events (e.g. the Authority’s It’s Your Neighbourhood Scheme and Britain in Bloom); and — Garden maintenance (i.e. delivering the Authority’s Welfare Gardening Scheme).
