Tender description

Waste management and minimisation services provides the provision for the collection, transportation, minimisation and appropriate disposal method at agreed locations for incineration, alternative treatment and or landfill of clinical and domestic healthcare waste streams. Lot 1 — clinical healthcare waste, Lot 2 — domestic, offensive healthcare, hazardous non healthcare, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, and miscellaneous waste. Lot 3 — confidential waste. Lot 4 — re-useable sharps. Lot 5 — WEEE waste. Lot 6 — framework will also incorporate the provision of a Total Waste Management (TWM) service to cover all clinical and domestic waste streams. Lot 7 — waste products. As part of the framework renewal NHS SBS will be engaging with suppliers and the marketplace.
