Summary of the work The design/solution must be secure with no possibility patient information is accessed by external parties. Must meet NHS Standards for network connectivity, security/IG. It must include a fault reporting mechanism providing information on how the proposed solution recovers from a network and power interruption, without human intervention, retaining configuration/state information. Specialist role Designer Expected Contract Length 50-80 days Latest start date Monday 12 March 2018 Early Market Engagement For full scope please email: joanne.quinn@nhs.net Who Speclialist Work With The successful supplier will need to engage with NELCSU and any identified stakeholders and users What Specialists Work On Deliverables of this procurement at a high level are: An actionable and scalable cloud based design capable of delivering functionality specified in this document and support delivery of ICT services to General Practices in Kent and Medway. The supplier will produce both High Level Design and Low level design documentation. The Design must provide - File management, data storage, hosting for core services – provision and management of secure, resilient off site data storage to host the customer’s clinical data. Pilot of the design in a maximum of THREE GPs and a fully costed action plan for scaling the design Skills & Experience • Have experience of delivering Solutions in GP Practice environment • Working Knowledge of NHS Network connectivity, Security and Information Governance standards • Cloud Based technology knowledge including Azure Nice to Haves Previous experience of similar area in producing a GPIT environment Cloud based design solutions Work Location Primarily based at Kent House but will be required to work with other stakeholders at various locations within the NELCSU Area Kent House, Station Road, Ashford, Kent TN23 1PP Working Arrangments Full time - Flexible Additional T&Cs £50k - capped and inclusive of VAT, mileage and expenses No. of Specialists to Evaluate 3 Cultural Fit Criteria • Work as a team with our organisation and other suppliers • Understand the local environment • Be transparent and collaborative when making decisions • Ability to deliver at pace • Communicate in a sensetive environment • Ability to build trusted relationships Evaluation Weighting Technical competence 30% Cultural fit 20% Price 50% Questions from Suppliers No questions have been answered yet.
