Tender description

This tender is to establish a framework for the supply of Disposable Headwear, Eyewear and Surgical Masks. This ITT will be run as a GPO Open procurement exercise and is exclusively limited to HTE GPO members who have agreed to participate and commit volume to the awarded supplier(s) for a period of 2 years with an option to extend for a further year. The framework will provide suitable products and the necessary training on protective clothing. The requirements are split into 3 Lots and bidders will be at liberty to Tender for 1, 2 or all Lots: Lot 1 — Disposable Headwear Lot 2 — Disposable Eyewear Lot 3 — Surgical Masks. The duration of the framework will be 3 years maximum (2 years initial period with the option of extending for 1 period of 12 months). The objective of Lot 1 is to deliver a best value framework for participating members of the GPO in respect of quality, safety, service and price for Disposable Headwear, This will provide suitable products and the necessary training to facilitate all the headwear requirements. This will cover Bouffant/Mob Caps and Surgeons Hoods, Elasticated Back Caps and Tie Back Caps will also be included with the availability of a range of colours. This Lot will be a sole award. [Terms and Conditions / Activity Based Income (ABI). The terms and conditions of this Framework Agreement and any resulting Call-Off contract is appended to the ITT. These terms include provisions requiring the payment by the supplier of an ABI management charge in consideration of the award of this framework agreement, the management and administration by HTE of the overall contract structure and associated documentation, as well as the requirement to submit regular management information to HTE. Submission of Expressions of Interest and Procurement Information. This exercise will be conducted on the HTE Bravo portal. This will cover glasses that are assembled with replaceable lenses and frames that may be reused. Full face visors which are secured around the forehead will be included in this lot.
