Kidderminster Railway Station Redevelopment (GRIP 5-8)

Tender description

There has been a rapid increase in passenger numbers using Kidderminster Railway Station in recent years and this trend is expected to continue to rise at a similar rate. To support proposals to redevelop Kidderminster Railway Station, Worcestershire County Council (the Council) obtained Local Enterprise Partnership funding for the station and forecourt redevelopment to improve the transport facilities and make the station fit for future generations. The Council is seeking a contractor to deliver GRIP stages 5 to 8, under NEC4 ECC Option A (priced contract with activity schedule). The contractor will be expected to fully participate as a member of the project team in order to produce demonstrable value for the Council. The Council requires a supplier who will bring their knowledge, experience and innovative solutions to deliver demonstrable value for Worcestershire.
