Tender description

Independent Domestic Violence Advocacy and Support Service to survivors of domestic and sexual violence, using a service user centred approach to address the multiple needs of the individuals worked with, including male survivors. The service: — provides advocacy and support, — reduces the harm domestic / sexual violence and other forms of VAWG causes to individuals and families, — maximises the immediate and longer term safety of adults and children (including unborn) at risk due to any form of domestic / sexual violence and other forms of VAWG, — enables service users to access a range of protection and support services available to them, appropriate to their needs, — advocates on the service user’s behalf with statutory and voluntary agencies, — supports and raises local awareness of domestic / sexual violence and other forms of VAWG, — supports the boroughs MARAC (Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conference).
