Tender description

Please note this is a contract award notice, not a contract opportunity Carmarthenshire County Council invited tenders for the delivery of projects within the families first programme for a period of 1 year in the first instance (from 1.4.2018 to 31.3.2019), followed by annual extensions up to 31.3.2022. This is all subject to the funding stream being available from Welsh Government, which will be confirmed annually from 1.2018. It was confirmed by the current providers of this service that there were TUPE (Transfer of Undertakings (protection of employment) Regulations 2006) implications attached to this contract. Lot 1: Parenting Support — The overall aim of the service in this Lot is to work with and support parents across Carmarthenshire in all aspects of raising children from birth to adulthood in order to reduce risk; strengthen parenting capacity; develop and build resilience and sustain positive change in the best interests of children. Please note that it has been confirmed by the current provider of this service that there are TUPE (Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006) implications attached to this contract. Lot 2: Volunteering and Community Support — The overall aim of the service in this Lot is to recruit, train, support and supervise volunteers who will work with families to improve outcomes for children and young people. Volunteers will provide support that encourage positive parenting, home learning, emotional health and resilience. Please note that it has been confirmed by the current provider of this service that there are TUPE (Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006) implications attached to this contract. Lot 3 Specialist Domestic Abuse Support for children and young people 0-16y — The overall aim of the service in this Lot is to provide individualised, age appropriate support for children and young people affected by domestic abuse through 1:1 or group sessions.
