Tender description

The East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust is an acute NHS trust providing a wide range of emergency and inpatient services at its main site, the Lister Hospital in Stevenage, with outpatient and diagnostic care provided at Hertford County Hospital, the Lister and the New QEII Hospital in Welwyn Garden City. The Trust also runs the Mount Vernon Cancer Centre, one of the country's top five cancer treatment centres, which provides specialist radiotherapy services along with chemotherapy for local people. The New QEII and the Mount Vernon Cancer Centre will not form part of the proposed contract. The Trust is looking for a partner able to provide a 24 hour per day, 365 day per year security service to maintain a secure environment at the Lister Hospital, as well as providing an alarm response at the Hertford County Hospital site.
