Tender description

This is a Dynamic Purchasing System for Data Sources and Services including Expertise (DPS Data SaSiE) ONS would like to engage with organisations that have data sources and services including expertise that can support our mission to provide statistics and research for the public good. Our statistics and research cover all aspects of the UK’s economy and society, examples which are described below. We are committed to improving the quality, coverage and insight derived from our statistics and research, and to developing innovative approaches to these improvements. This includes the data sources and services; and the expertise to understand it and help us make better use of data. This requirement is divided by 3 broad areas: 1. Economy, Business, Industry and Trade; 2. People, Population and Community; 3. Specialist data services. These areas are separated into themes of data (lots), further detail can be found within the associated documentation. The DPS is separated into 26 lots of Data Sources, Services and Expertise. The Lots are as follows: 1. Business and Trade Information; 2. Inflation and Commodity pricing; 3. Banking, Insurance and Financial; 4. Employment, Labour, Unemployment and Skills; 5. Construction; 6. IT, Digital and Internet; 7. Leisure, Travel and Tourism; 8. Transport; 9. Mobile Telecommunication; 10. Environment, Sustainability and Natural Capital; 11. Life events including family composition; 12. Crime and Justice; 13. Cultural Identity; 14. Education and Childcare; 15. Health and Social Care; 16. Household Characteristics; 17. Housing and Property; 18. Personal and Household Finances; 19. Population and Migration; 20. Well-being, including loneliness and homelessness; 21. Novel and cross-cutting data sources; 22. Data Collection and Statistical methodology; 23. Data Science and Analytical services; 24. Data Solutions and Expertise; 25. Data Research; 26.
