Tender description
A supplier event day will be held on 22 March 2018 as the authority begins the process of procuring the next generation Construction and Highways Framework. The framework aims to deliver efficiencies, improve value for money and provide added social value through the employment and training opportunities. Key features include: • Four-year duration (with possible two-year extension) • Potential total workload in excess of £20 million (split over lots 1-16) • Call offs will be under the NEC ECC4 suite of contracts Procurement will be a single stage process with bidders completing the publicly available specification (PAS 91), with supplementary method statements and pricing information. The council will be using ‘Constructionline’ the Government-approved third-party accreditation and risk management service to assist in the pre-qualification and future monitoring processes. The provisional award date for the framework is October, followed by a mobilisation period of two months with a ‘go live’ date of January, 2019. All documentation will be issued electronically with an anticipated release date of May.
