Tender description

We are looking to procure Legionella routine visits and remedial works from, ideally, 2 high quality providers that will deliver a service that is demonstrably focused around our needs. Tenderers are able to submit for either one or both Lots. All documents are available to download from Proactis at www.housingprocurement.com Providers will need to register on the website (free) then search for the tender in ‘opportunities’ under Orbit Housing and register interest to view documents and submit a response. We reserve the right not to award any agreement or to award any individual services pursuant to an agreement. Applicants should therefore note that provision of a submission to us does not guarantee any level /amount of work. We will not, in any circumstances, reimburse any expense incurred by the applicants in preparing their tender submission. We are seeking to appoint a preferred supplier to enter into contract to provide Legionella risk assessments and associated services for Orbit properties in the Midlands (stock map of properties is included with the tender documents on procontract). Scope of the works to include: — Undertake legionella routine visits to Orbit owned stock, — Update Orbit IT systems in a timely manner with routine visit details, — Undertake remedial works as identified at the agreed costs, — Undertake risk assessments from time to time that may be required on an ad hoc basis. The contract for the provision of the service is expected to commence on the 1.6.2018 the exact dates to be agreed depending on the agreement between the successful provider and the client. The contract will be awarded for an initial period of 3 years with an option to extend for a further 2 years (on a 1 + 1 basis) based on acceptable performance in line with the KPIs.
