Road-maintenance works

Tender description

The works are split into 3 separate Lots to undertake routine maintenance of 1 753 single carriageway National Road Bridges in the Republic Of Ireland. The Lots are: 1. North West Bridges Term maintenance contract Nº 3 2. Munster Bridges Term maintenance contract Nº 3 3. Leinster Bridges Term maintenance contract Nº 3 The works contained in each Lot comprise of routine maintenance of bridges phased over 4 years including 2018 (Year 1), 2019 (Year 2), 2020 (Year 3) and 2021 (Year 4), and reactive maintenance work for the term duration approximately 4 years. No tenderer can be awarded more than one Lot. Routine maintenance works phased over a 28 week contract period in 2018 (Year 1), and a 25 week period in each of 2019 (Year 2), 2020 (Year 3) and 2021 (Year 4). Reactive maintenance work for the term duration. Year 4 routine maintenance works and all reactive maintenance works will have a 52 week defects correction period. The works comprise 694 Structures on the National Road Network in Counties Cavan, Mayo, Galway, Donegal, Leitrim, Roscommon, Sligo and Monaghan. Routine maintenance works phased over a 28 week contract period in 2018 (Year 1), and a 25 week period in each of 2019 (Year 2), 2020 (Year 3) and 2021 (Year 4). Reactive maintenance work for the Term duration. Year 4 routine maintenance works. And all reactive maintenance works will have a 52 week defects correction period. The works comprise 694 Structures on the National Road Network in Counties Cork, Cork City, Clare, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary and Waterford. Routine maintenance works phased over a 20 week Contract period in 2018 (Year 1), and a 15 week period in each of 2019 (Year 2), 2020 (Year 3) and 2021 (Year 4). Reactive maintenance work for the term duration. Year 4 routine maintenance works. And all reactive maintenance works will have a 52 week defects correction period. The works comprise 365 Structures on the National Road Network in 15 Counties in Leinster. See section 1.1 of the SAQ for full details.
