Patient Temperature Management

Tender description

The framework agreement will consist of a wide range of products that are used to support the management of a patient's temperature and the temperature of a patient's blood and other fluids. The ranges of products available under the framework agreement include patient warming blankets and clothing, mattresses, warming cabinets, neonatal warming systems, blood and fluid warming control units and sets, patient cooling systems and associated products, patient circulatory temperature controlled water systems, reusable electric conductive patient warming systems, intravenous temperature management and temperature sensors. Precise quantities are unknown but it is currently anticipated that initial expenditure will be in the region of GBP 11 400 000 to GBP 24 600 000 in the first year of this framework agreement, with the estimated value over the total framework agreement term (including any extension options) being in the region of GBP 45 600 000 to GBP 98 400 000.
