New 3G pitch on King George V Memorial Fields Bradford

It is City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council’s requirement that a fully porous ‘third generation’ synthetic grass pitch shall be designed and constructed to suit the requirements for football and rugby. The pitch shall meet the requirements of the FIFA Quality Programme. This specification sets out the minimum requirements for the construction of a new synthetic 3G pitch on the King George V Memorial Fields, off Canal Road, Bradford. The pitch will be primarily for 11 v 11 football and cross-field play however it is also to be used for rugby and therefore a suitable shock pad shall also be required. The pitch facility generally would be expected to fall into the intensive use category in terms of overall utilisation. Tenderers should be a FIFA preferred producer.
