Tender description

NHS Supply Chain seeks to establish a framework agreement to NHS Supply Chain depots and its Customer via the Stock, Blue Diamond and E-Direct routes for the following Pre-Operative Skin Preparation Products including, but may not be limited to: Razors, Pre-Operative Scrub Brushes, Sterile Skin Marker Pens and Surgical Skin Clippers and associated products. Precise quantities are unknown. It is anticipated that initial expenditure will be GBP 2 083.33 in the first year of this framework agreement, however this is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the Framework Agreement. The estimated value over the total framework agreement term is an estimated annual value of GBP 2 083.33 over a (2 + 2 year term) = GBP 8 333.32. A double edge disposable non-sterile razor for use prior to a surgical procedure. Precise quantities are unknown. It is anticipated that initial expenditure will be circa GBP 66 366 in the first year of this framework agreement, however this is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the framework agreement. The following certification will be a requirement of the upcoming tender exercise and applicants will be required to include evidence of this with their tender submission. ISO 9001:2015 or equivalent externally accredited and up-to-date quality standard certificate(s) to cover all segments of the Applicant's (and the product's) supply chain. This should include but not be limited to manufacturing storage and distribution. If such certificates are not in the name of the applicant then the applicant must supply a copy of agreements setting out the authority and responsibilities of all parties in the supply chain. Skin Marker Pens with ruler (Gentian Violet, Sterile, Regular and Fine Tip, Capped, Disposable Ruler) for use to create a violet coloured line and enable pre-operative marking of the patient.
