Tender description

AFBI requires a SPR optical biosensor system capable of performing rapid screening analysis in “real time” for veterinary drug residues and contaminants in sample extracts of animal origin. The system will be required to be compatible with the current sensor assays within the laboratory. These assays are performed on Biacore Q systems. The system must comprise of the following elements: SPR detection unit, auto sampler to accommodate 2 x 96 well micro titre plates and dedicated holder for assay reagents, pre-programmable auto sampler capable of unattended mixing of sample and antibody (binder molecule) just prior to injection. A data system complete with all of the necessary software packages and associated licenses, PC, monitor, keyboard and printer must also be included. Software must monitor responses of the analysis in “real time” providing instance evaluation of data. Chip surfaces must be stable and exchangeable between biosensor systems.
