Tender description

The provision of post design services, supply of modification sets and preparation and supply of amendments to Aircraft technical publications for the Tucano T Mk 1 Aircraft including additional tasking as required. The Provision of Contract Reference Number UKMFTS/2012/02 including additional tasking as required. 1. The United Kingdom Military Flight Training System which is part of the United Kingdom Ministry of Defence (“the Authority”) intends to extend the existing contract dated 4.2.2013 with Bombardier Aerospace Short Brothers P.L.C. (“the Company”) for the provision of post design services, supply of modification sets and preparation and supply of amendments to aircraft technical publications for the Tucano T Mk 1 Aircraft; 2. The current term of the contract is 7 years expiring on 31.3.2018. The Authority intends to extend the term of the contract for a period of 19 months until 31.10.2019. The total value of the contract extension is estimated to be circa GBP 2000 000 over the duration of the contract extension, bringing the estimated total value of the contract to GBP 4 700 000.
