Tender description

The objectives of this procurement are: 1) To provide a Young Carers Service which is connected, through partnership arrangements, to relevant local agencies, including Health and Social Care Trusts the Education Authority and Schools; 2) To provide information to Young Carers and source such information from appropriate agencies such as the HSC Trusts and specialist Disability organisations; 3) To provide information and relevant training to other agencies locally on the needs of Young Carers, and; 4) To provide specialist Services to meet the needs of Young Carers appropriate to the levels of need. This tender is offered in 5 Lots - each covering one of the 5 Health and Social Care Trusts areas. The HSCB wish to appoint a single Provider in each Lot to provide the Service in that Lot. Lot 1: Lot 1: Belfast HSC Trust The objectives of this procurement are: 1) To provide a Young Carers Service which is connected, through partnership arrangements, to relevant local agencies, including Health and Social Care Trusts the Education Authority and Schools; 2) To provide information to Young Carers and source such information from appropriate agencies such as the HSC Trusts and specialist Disability organisations; 3) To provide information and relevant training to other agencies locally on the needs of Young Carers, and; 4) to provide specialist Services to meet the needs of Young Carers appropriate to the levels of need. This tender is offered in 5 Lots - each covering one of the 5 Health and Social Care Trusts areas. The HSCB wish to appoint a single Provider in each Lot to provide the Service in that Lot. The initial contract is 36 months with the potential to extend for 2 x 12 month periods. The estimated value of this contract for 3 years is 260 880,00 GBP if the extensions were invoked the value could potentially be 434 800,00 GBP. There is also a potential for a 40% uplift in programme and activity costs as stated in the B document, therefore, the value could range from 260 880,00 GBP to 608 720,00 GBP. Lot 2: Lot 2: South-Eastern HSC Trust The objectives of this procurement are: 1) To provide a Young Carers Service which is connected, through partnership arrangements, to relevant local agencies, including Health and Social Care Trusts the Education Authority and Schools; 2) To provide information to Young Carers and source such information from appropriate agencies such as the HSC Trusts and specialist Disability organisations; 3) To provide information and relevant training to other agencies locally on the needs of Young Carers, and; 4) to provide specialist Services to meet the needs of Young Carers appropriate to the levels of need.
