Tender description

Contractors will work in partnership with Velindre NHS Trust to ensure prescribed treatments are administered in accordance with prescribed Medicines Pathway, individual patient care plan if special needs have been identified, and written instructions from the clinician responsible for the patient's treatment. The contractor is required to advise the Velindre NHS Trust in the event that the contractor’s capacity or the level of growth in patient numbers has the potential to have a detrimental effect on patient service levels to existing patients on the homecare service. The contractor will provide adequate facilities and resources to provide the services to the level described within this specification. The awarding authority is running systemic anti cancer therapy compounding and nursing administration service for 1 day per week on a separate mobile facility which will form part of a separate contract.
