SS17110 Hosting, Support and Maintenance for Airwatch MDM Software

Tender description

The Council requires hosting, maintenance and ‘production’ support for 4300 x AirWatch Yellow Management Suite, cloud, device-based, perpetual licences. The current hosting, maintenance and support is due to expire at the beginning of May. This tender will renew the hosting, maintenance and support for 12 months from May 2018 to ensure uninterrupted provision of the service. There are currently 3819 active smartphones, iPads and tablets enrolled onto AirWatch MDM. This includes Directors and Members of KCC. A further 400 iPhones have been approved to be enrolled over the coming months as part of the SCS Mobile Working project. We have already increased the number of licences from 3500 to 4300 since the last renewal took place in May 2017. KCC is becoming more mobile and in doing so requires a suitable MDM to provide effective management and security of devices. The AirWatch Licence Suite has been replaced by a new licence suite called Workspace One. The Council would like to obtain quotes for the renewal of hosting, maintenance and support for both ‘AirWatch Yellow Licence Suite’ and ‘Workspace One Advanced’ and select the package that represents best value for money, within the Council’s budget.
