Supplier engagement event — 21.3.2018 and 22.3.2018 at Companies House Cardiff. Legal&Risk aims to deliver work efficiencies through investment in a modern integrated legal case management IT system, exploiting opportunities to automate and modernise, producing easier systems use with less “steps” between systems and more intuitive user interface, helping legal staff become more effective in their roles to focus on their critical work elements and less on administrative tasks. Key features which are of interest to us include: 1. Legal case management; 2. Staff personal information management; 3. Staff absence/leave management; 4. Staff clocking in/out and flexible working management (preferably compatible with NHS Wales’ online provider ESR and/or and existing NWSSP swipe card system); 5. Contacts management (client organisations, client human contacts, experts, service providers (expert ratings), courts, solicitor firms, individual solicitors, defence unions, others; 6. Case synopsis, evidence and strategy information (for all work types – NB clinical negligence, personal injury, putting things right, inquests, employment, commercial, procurement, NHS Regulatory, Court of Protection/mental capacity/health act, commercial property, general advisory, data protection and information governance; 7. Case diary management (including litigation pre and in court proceedings); 8. Matter financial information (including hourly rates, court rates, costs budgeting processes, damages, costs, disbursements, compensation recovery unit liabilities, payments made and pending) cashflow analysis and management; 9. Matter time recording (varying hourly rates where required); 10. Matter task/workflow management, allocation and automation; 11. Document management (linking to cases/matters, managing email/document generation, template generation (compatible with voice recognition), meta-data and storage); 12. Management of periodical payments and lump sums to claimants; 13. Compatibility with client software enabling auto upload to us of New and up-dated case data (currently they use Datix but this is under review); 14. Web-based front-end (browser agnostic), enabling secure All-Wales client access to some reporting functions; 15. Matter file review, audit and reporting (including KPI’s) on all of the above;
