Provision of Design and Construction Services related to the implementation of Smarter Working across NFDC

PLEASE SEE ATTACHED EOI PROJECT OVERVIEW DOCUMENT FOR INFORMATION. New Forest District Council is developing a project to implement a “smarter working” environment across the authority. The vision being to:- “Create a mobile and flexible organisation fit for the digital future through cultural change, working environment and supporting technology” The aim is to deliver the vision to realise the following business benefits:- • Improved service delivery • Reduced operating costs • Increased productivity and performance • Integrate services with new technology • Reduced environmental footprint • Reduction in sickness absence • Improvements in staff morale, loyalty, reliability, engagement and commitment The Council is looking to implement smarter working across the organisation in two phases: • Phase 1 will address the design and refurbishment of the south wing as well as the design planning for the east wing and north wing of the main Civic Offices located at Appletree Court, Lyndhurst. • Phase 2 (optional) will address the refurbishment works for the east wing and north wing (Appletree Court) and any other additional NFDC owned office sites where smarter working may be extended to.
