Tender description

The Association of North East Councils Trading as the North East Procurement Organisation (NEPO) Framework Contract Award for the Provision of Library Books and eBooks. The Framework will include lots for 1) Adult Fiction and Non Fiction, 2) Children's Fiction and Non Fiction, 3) DVDs/Blu Rays and Lot 4) eBooks. The Framework will be a ranked Framework consisting of no more than two suppliers for Lots 1, 2 and 3 and a maximum of three suppliers awarded to Lot 4. The Framework Contract for the Provision of Library Books and eBooks to be made available for use by all Contracting Authorities throughout all administrative regions of the UK (as defined by the Public Contracts Regulations 2015) including but not limited to Government Departments and their Agencies, Non-Departmental Public Bodies, Central Government, NHS Bodies, Local Authorities, Emergency Services, Coastguard Emergency Services, Educational Establishments, Registered Social Landlords and Registered Charities who have a need to purchase the above supplies. Contractors are listed in ranked order and Call-Off can be made via direct award to the first ranked supplier in the first instance. If the supplier is unable to fulfil all requirements of the Contracting Authority, they reserve the right to engage with the second ranked supplier and so on, until all requirements are met in full.
